Occupy Protesters March Through Streets Of East New York Brooklyn

Occupy Wall Street protesters marched East New York Brooklyn to call attention to the nation’s ongoing housing crisis.
Over 300 protesters marched through the neighborhood touring abandoned and foreclosed homes. They carried signs saying “Foreclose on banks, not people” and “Affordable housing for the 99 percent.”
Protesters say similar actions are taking place elsewhere in the country Tuesday.
The protesters ended their march at what they describe as a foreclosed home that had been abandoned by a bank three years ago.
They introduced members of a homeless family and said they plan renovate and clean up the house on Vermont Street so the family can live in the home.
